Shima Seiki
I have been working on computer generated knitwear systems, for example prima vision and lectra systems. Then I was introduced to the Apex 3 system, which encompassed everything I had ever dreamed of as a knitwear designer. I can replicate samples, stitch for stitch in all the gauges and in the actual yarn that would be used. This can be meshed onto a model, so you can see how the knitwear would look being worn without making a sample.
