I have designed for many companies over the years including; Marks & Spencers, River Island, Monsoon, Oasis, H&M, Warehouse, ASOS, Galleries Lafayette, New Look, Promod and Dunnes.
I have progressed from working and sketching on paper to now working on Shima Seiki Apex 3 computer generated design system. With this system I can design and make the knit programme at the same time, this can go straight into a Shima machine but I can also do Bit maps which give all the knitting details for any machine. I do all the size specs and constantly update the yarn base, so that the designs look fresh and up to date. I have worked extensively in the Far East and developed yarns in Korea, I also have many years experience working with British factories.
